Gustav finds Michigan

Michigan gets hurricanes too. Did you know that? Yes we do and as depicted above in this satellite photograph, it clearly shows its path is headed over us. Amazing stuff hey?

So, not the hurricane type you are thinking of, and we don't get all of the Weather Channel hype, however, we will and are receiving lot's of rain right now.

Here is the forecast for this evening:

LOW PRESSURE...THE REMNANTS OF GUSTAV...WILL LIFT UP THROUGH LOWERMICHIGAN TONIGHT AND ACROSS CENTRAL LAKE HURON FRIDAY MORNING.ABUNDANT TROPICAL MOISTURE WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING HEAVY RAIN TOTHE REGION TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY...WITH RAINFALLAMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES EXPECTED IN SOME AREAS.

"REMNANTS OF GUSTAV" with "TROPICAL MOISTURE". Sounds pretty wet to me.

At least I don't have to water my flowers this evening. Gustav is taking this job over for me. Thanks, but please don't over water them. They may drown!
