Stuck in a bucket

Silliness
If you have kids you can probably relate to the following pictures. Kids are funny in that they like to do things to make others laugh, to get that response and attention from adults. But sometimes what can turn into a belly laughing time for adults may not be so for kids. Kids do the darndest things sometimes, and my daughter can usually find unusual predictaments to get herself into.
My daughter and her cousin were happily playing with this 5 gallon bucket full of water and it seemed to be pretty hysterical when she sat in the bucket and water came shooting out of the front of it.
Her cousin found this so amusing and her laughs and giggles were adorable, which further fed my daughter's comedy performance.
Whenever my daughter would push herself into the bucket, a stream of water would shoot out of it and there would be a funny sucking sound. But whenever she pushed herself into the bucket she seemed to fall deeper into it.
At about this point you can see the fun is just about over and she is thinking of getting out the bucket. You can also see from the expression on her face a wave of panic has passed and she is beginning to wonder if maybe she is stuck.
Sure enough, she is stuck. What seemed like such fun for her and her cousin has all of sudden come to a screeching halt. But for us adults, the fun has just began.
So my big brother, bless his heart, comes to her rescue. By first grabbing her hands and pulling up thinking, "oh she's not that stuck!".
It almost appears as if she is going to be set free from the bucket in this picture.
So maybe he will have to try a different angle here.
Perhaps picking her up and shaking her a bit will detach the bucket from her bum. My daughter is thinking this is fun now and having a laugh too.

So now we are back to square one and my brother has to rethink his niece's plan for rescue.

So he comes up with this manuever. While water comes splashing out, she is still not budging from the bucket.

Some more pulling, shaking, laughing, cussing!
Of course pictures have to be taken of this as you can see from the background. This is such fun entertainment folks.
I am truly hoping my niece, who has been patiently watching her cousin, will learn from this, and hopefully not grow up to be like her big cousin.
So finally she is just about to be freed here and dumped from the bucket. I am finding it funny and odd at the same time that I did not get a final picture of her out of the bucket. I do remember there was so many hysterics coming from my body and the rest of my family that I could probaly no longer press the shutter button. What a day we had, and what a fun time the kids all had as well.
This is further proof that not only should those warning signs on the sides of 5 gallon buckets ward off small children from falling in, but also to warn children not to sit their bums down in them.

Must take after her Dad .........
