Morning Sunrises
Morning sunrises around here have been absolutely beautiful these past few days. We have been having some very cold mornings, with a dusting of snow yesterday and cold, bitterly winds that would pass right through you and cause you to catch your breath. Winter is coming on quite fast and giving us bits and pieces of what's to come.
I've been in awe over these sunrises and yesterday morning captured these gray clouds with hints of sun coloring them oranges and pinks.
These clouds just shout "Winter is on its way!".
The clouds were traveling across the sky at a steady pace, causing all sorts of color changes from the rising sun.
However this morning, after I booted Yooper off to work and kicked the kids onto their bus, I scrambled and shivered outside with my trusty camera and shot these. These pictures, not the cows, geesh! We had quite a hard frost last night, which should take care of any last leaves on trees and anything left in our garden.
This is the same picture as the one above and when I opened it up on my computer you could not see the cows, everything was black. With the first picture I was able to tweak the lightness(fill light in Photoshop) and bring the cows into the picture. Which is pretty neat, so I just cropped out that blackness on the bottom and voila, another view.
Colors were so different from yesterday's sunrise and I liked this mornings oranges, pinks and blues much better.

What a view...absolutely gorgeous.
When we moved back to Ohio, we bought our home not because of the house (which needed and still needs lots of work)...we bought it for the property. We only own a little over 11 acres, but it's our little slice of heaven. My dream would be to own 40 acres like this. So beautiful!
Love the photos - gorgeous sunrise... And yes, those clouds are definitely carrying a hint of snow in them...
Great Photographs! A beautiful sunrise..cold looking ..but beautiful! :)
Especially loved the first and last ones.
You know in England we say red sky in the morning Shepherds Warning, Red Sky at night Shepherds delight. Not sure if you use that saying here or not but just thought I`d share..
Great picture to
Gorgeous. I like the last one best for the drama of the trees (?) in front.
very very good job!
Wow, we haven't been having that sort of thing. So thanks for sharing your beautiful sunrises. It's greatly appreciated.
Awesome sunrise. I too am mesmorized by sunrises and clouds. I often wonder if others get as much joy out of them. Glad to see someone else does indeed!
