Sky Watch Friday
Here is my Sky Watch Friday photo for today. Stop on over there to see more sky views!

We have been having some beautiful sunsets lately now that the snow has arrived and I shot this last Saturday from our farm.
Now that the lake effect snow has somewhat calmed down I was able to go out and about and take some pictures of what things look like around here. Trees are still heavy with snow and but will probably be able to shake themselves off a bit with some winds forecasted for tomorrow.

I found this view through my mom who took the same picture, emailed it to me which convinced me I had better go there and take some pictures too. This was taken at one of our local cemetarys and this is how things look as you drive in. Very surreal.

Along a river were these little duckies, or Mallards, for all you bird lovers. Makes my toes cold looking at them.

I took a walk around our property after our huge snowfall and realized snowshoes would have been a better option than trudging through all the snow. But I also felt less guilty about eating so many potato chips the night before.

I couldn't help but think that even though the cold and snow is a hard adjustment for someone who loves summer, I was enjoying my scenic views.
I have a busy weekend ahead of me, one project is getting Yooper's truck unstuck in a middle of a hayfield. Don't ask, I'll explain later. It's a true Yooper doing and goes to show that he is indeed a Yooper.
Enjoy your weekend!

Very nice Skywatch post! A gorgeous image to start with!
Cheers, Klaus
That second shot is just....well...wordless!
I thought my sky was gorgeous until I saw yours - even more gorgeous-er!
Snow makes for the prettiest pictures! Thanks for sharing those. Love them!
snow makes great black and white photos don't they? That sunset is stunning.
Absolutely stunning shots!
Oh my word ~ that first shot is AMAZING! Wowza!
I love the tree-lined drive going into the cemetery too. Fantastic photos.
Thank you for all of your nice comments! I think they do better black and white since they looked so gray and drab out of the camera.
Angie, Love your new do/photo!
Excellent photos! They are stunning! :)
Your skywatch photos are great!! My favorite on this page though has to be the two doggies looking in the window on Thanksgiving. Precious!! Thanks for visiting my blog too. Guess what, it's snowing outside! (Michigan sarcasm) :)
Your wet snow makes gorgeous photos - great captures. And your sunset is stunning - its' great that different seasons and weather brings us different skies - makes this whole skywatch thing so worthwhile, huh? Great post.
Your snow pictures are really quite nice. I not sure which one I like best. I would love it if you talk a little bit about your camera and how you took these. We are still waiting for our big snowfall here in upstate NY.
I'm not really as illiterate as I sound. I was just in a hurry and didn't check for typos. :(
