Been Missing and Missing Very Much

From DVMsWife

Sweet Oliver. Ollie boy. Olligans. He is missing. He is one of my barn kitties. Big fluffy boy. Where are you? What are you doing? Are you okay? Please come home. Little Miss Mini Me has been looking for you. Up in the stacked pile of round bales. In and out of the hundreds of square bales. Every nook and cranny of the barns.
We don't know where you are or what happened to you. Your food bowl sits on top of cabinet in the horse barn waiting for you to return.

From DVMsWife

And Jerry. Jere Bear. My big handsome, lover of a Jerry cat. He is gone too. It has been a week since they both departed. For Jerry it is NOT like him to be gone from his food dish longer than 4 hours or whenever I appear in the barn. He is there always waiting for some food. Looking for a pat on his head. Some heavy lovin'. Scratching all his happy spots; behind his ears, under his chin, on top of his head. And then some wrestling with my hand; biting and then licking my fingers. What a fun, humorous cat you are. And I miss you so.
My two big lover cats, please come home soon. We miss your big cat-attitudes. Your fun loving personalities. Your fluffiness.
Where ever you are, I hope you are safe. I hope what ever journey or hunt you are on is fun and exciting. But know your home here is waiting and your food dish is lonely.
Come back soon big kittahs!

Barn cats aren't supposed to be friendly. We're not supposed to get attached to them because they're barn cats. They have a job to do - they're not supposed to be family members. Yeah right. I hope yours get back on the job soon.

Maybe they are just enjoying one last long hunt in preparation for the cold weather ahead... perhaps stocking their own "food pantry".

I hope they return very soon, Amy.

I disagree with PP - Barn cats are working members of the farm and members of the family. They are to be respected and loved as much as anyone else. I hope your boys come back safely.
The fact that they both disappeared at the same time is suspicious. Was there any unusual activity in the area? Someone else is posting today about their cat taking a tire ride (above, not under.) I had a friend whose cat took a trailer ride across several states but was returned.
Don't give up hope.

OK- I read too quickly. I now see who the PP was and also see the understanding and caring in the words. We do agree.

I would be devastated if my cats were missing...I hope you find them soon!

Well that just stinks. It's strange that they both are gone. Maybe a new hot chick moved in the area. Hope they return soon.

Hoping they show up very soon. It's so angsty to worry about our animals.

Wishing your babies back soon, barn cats or not, they are obviously loved. There are so many kitties missing in blogger land, this is heartbreaking. I can only read the posts, and send them good thoughts for a safe return.
