My big sister came up to visit this past weekend. We had a blast. From laughing, to my venting out my life's maddening day to day chaos to her, eating chocolate, having a cart-wheel contest and spending quality time together, it was a weekend I hated to see end so soon. My sister lives three and a half hours away from me. It was great to have her here. She picked up Tim Friday from his physical therapy while I was having my hair cut, hung out with him at our house and helped out the kids once they got home from school. That was so nice! I didn't feel so rushed on Friday and enjoyed not having to be in two places at once.

Saturday we spent time eating the homemade, kick-butt bread she made. I kept teasing her about actually making it. It was that good. I still don't believe she really made it from some recipe she found on All Recipes.com. Fess up sister. Which bakery?
While we munched on bread and drank Diet Pepsi, we decided it would be fun to interview one another for our blogs. Now that she has become a blog addict, diva like me, we thought it would be somewhat interesting to share a little about each other.
And instead of making up some questions we couldn't even make up, we asked Mini Me, sweetest daughter of mine, to ask us anything that came to her mind. With an evil grin she giggled and said, "This will be fun!".
It was. It was silly, giggly and full of burps and Diet Pepsi belching. My daughter is so doomed.
MM: What is your favorite blog entry you did? Mom, I liked Hope's story sitting with Dad in his chair. That was funny.

Good grief girly. There are so many favorites I have written.
I think the Ruby Tuesday entries have been my favs. Writing silly stuff, sharing pictures. That is always fun. But I do like sharing some of the seriousness of my life; get it out into the open.
Seriously Mom?
Seriously daughter. (Rolls eyes)
MM: What is your favorite part of the Tetons in Wyoming? Well I already know what my sister answered and I was going to say that. Quite possibly the views? The whole out west feeling. Love it.

MM: What two things do you sisters have in common? Love of the west and cats. A no-brainer for sure.
MM: What were the things you loved to do as a child? Climb trees and play with my Breyer horses. Lot's of memories there!
Lisa says I am being silly and she is being serious here. ( Yet I hear her laughing at Mini Me's questions too!)
MM: How much older is Aunt Lisa than you? Isn't she 50? She is not 50, yet. Older and wiser? How much older than me are you sister?

MM:How many states have you been to? Do you want an estimated guess? A guestimation? Lisa, should we call dad on this one? Phone a friend? ( My sister had to write them all down, one by one on a piece of paper. See older, wiser.)
Too many to list? Nearly half of the 50 states?
MM: What is your favorite color? Purple Mine too Mom.
MM:Which one of you girls was married first? The older one.

MM: Are you a dog person or a cat person? Depends on the day........ have become a better dog person because of my Ruby dog but always a kitty cat lover person. Dogs eat poop........cat's don't..........as far as I know. That's gross, especially when they try to lick you. But then again, cats lick their hineys......well enough said on that subject.
MM: What is your favorite flower? Daisies. Such happy flowers!
MM: Who can burp louder? I don't know should we have a contest? Mini Me says it is her mother, that would be me. Who doesn't burp? Come on, my faithful readers, it's human nature. We all do it. It's fun. It makes us feel better. We laugh. Close tie on this one. Asil taught me........you know, the whole older, wiser thing.

MM: Who got in the most trouble growing up? Oh that is easy. Our brother did. But Asil broke our parents in before I was old enough so they gave up by the time I was 8. Ha. Ha. To this day my mom still cringes when she thinks of my high school days and locking myself in my bedroom for hours.
MM: Who snores the loudest? Well I wouldn't know. I don't hear her. But agreed our husbands do and we probably purr.
MM: Manicure or pedicure? Pedicure. Let someone else deal with my toenails......
MM: Okay, last question? Do you two love each other? Love her like a sister. Of course I do silly! She brings me Peeps and chocolate and homemade bread and trashy magazines she knows I flip through once. Listens to me rant and rave. Puts up with my whining, burping, other noises I make that only a sister could giggle along with.
Yep, I love her to pieces.
