No April Fool's

No April foolin' around on this blog today. What you see is what you get to read and view. Because my April foolin' today in my own life wasn't all that funny to some. Yooper left our house this morning in a huff and puff because his loving wife decided to put green food coloring in his coffee creamer because it is APRIL FOOL'S DAY. And then his wonderful wife of 15 1/2 years switched out the inside of today's newspaper with an edition from February because she felt like it and it is the 1st day of April otherwise known to many as APRIL FOOL'S DAY! I thought it was funny. Him, not so much. Because his awesome better half told him 10 a.m. for his physical therapy appointment this morning and then at 10 minutes to nine his physical therapist called wondering where he was for his 8:30 a.m. scheduled visit. Hats off to me. I am brilliant. I blame it on my desk calendar which was still stuck in March. Big oops.

But I share today more pictures of cats and of course of Edgar. "He's gonna be famous I tell you!"And yes, that is Edgar, not a possum playing well possum. Edgar sleeping upside down. Stretched out, toes curled and yes, smiling. And probably dreaming.

Dreaming of flying like a bird or contemplating walking on the ceiling.

He is crashed out on his favorite chair pad in the whole wide world, or in his world, roughly 3000 some square feet of house. He is oblivious to me for two reasons. One, he is tired. And two, he is tired.

This is what cats do when they are in need of a nap. Sleep. And for Edgar, he should be exhausted from wrestling with Miley. Spinning his wheels across the slippery floor all morning. Bird watching. Playing "fetch the pipe cleaner" 119 times with one or two willing humans.

Absolutely zonked out.

While I was taking this picture he began twitching and I figured he was far away in cat la-la land dreaming away. But soon he woke up, stretched and took off for his food bowl.

Life as a cat. So simple.
