Your pictures are amazing. Love your work. Can I ask you what aperture you mostly shoot at?
Hi Tracie,
I shoot as wide as I can....those small aperture numbers. I love creating shallow depth of field in my images of animals, especially close ups. Otherwise 2.8 works well for me or higher for those rambunctious pets!

Amy, I am so excited for you! What an honor. I have been a blog stalker of yours for a long time with a few notes to you every now and then. I remember when you got your business cards and thought how wonderful that would be to do one day. I get a little closer each day and am always inspired by your work! Have fun judging! Have been reading your blog for a while now. It is great to see good things happening and have prayed for you during the bad times. You have inspired me with your photography. Have always loved your pictures. But Hope is my favorite subject. I love the the one of her (or him) and your husband on the couch.. I could buy a dog like that just to take their picture.
