I am looking for a little love from you, my fans. My followers. You blog stalkers. Yes you! The ones I keep this blog up for. You who are so fortunate to read about my crazy, messed up, wonderful, blessed life. Are you feeling so very special right now? Good! You should be! I love you all! For staying close by and sticking by my url link. And continuing to click on that link to stop by and see if I have anything new to say or see pictures I have shared.
Back to looking for some love.....

Over on I Heart Faces this week, their theme is Best Face of 2010. Of course I entered. You all knew that right? I searched around my picture files, my portfolio of images that are my favorites from last year. 2010! Where did you go? Vanished. Hello 2011. The above picture is one of my favorite clients I photographed last year and is the one I entered. How could I not? What a face! Absolutely adorable. How often do you get the opportunity to snap a lively moment as this one? Her expression is priceless. These are the reasons I love photography.

So I am asking you my faithful readers to mouse click on over to I Heart Faces and vote for my picture to make it one of the Best Faces of 2010! My entry number is 57 and all you have to do is click on the gold star and the word vote below my picture and voila all done. That's it. It should take you all of 23 seconds. Yes, I timed it except depending on your internet speed may take longer or make be quicker. Or may not work at all. But try anyway okay?
And by the way, THANK YOU! ALWAYS!

Cat Naps

DSC_5285_edited-1

Seems after Christmas a real week of napping and catching up on lost night's of sleep took place around these parts. Little Edgar the kitten caught on to this ritual quite quickly and soon found one of his favorite places to sleep.
Little does he realize the person he is sleeping on will soon remove his little boy jewels.
Sorry Edgar. That's life. Life has rules and preventing you from marking your territories throughout the house is rule number one. Which is a biggy around here. Cat pee smell is the worst. Just saying.
Since Christmas our lives have slowed down a bit. Our New Year's Eve was quite uneventful. In fact two people I know were in bed by 10 o'clock. Pathetic. I know. Maybe next year we will go crazy and stay up until 11. Who knows.
A big spring like thaw took place in Michigan which was actually a welcome relief for some. Especially farmers like us. A bit of "spring cleaning" took place in the barns. But today winter is back in full force with very cold temperatures and a reminder we have 3 more months of winter ahead.
It is back to school for the kiddos tomorrow. And I am ready for that!
How was everyone's New Year's Eve? I hope you all had a wonderful evening and looked back on 2010 with a smile!
Happy New Year! I wish for big dreams to be made in 2011!
